CEO of Rebold and COO of ISP Holdings, Andrea Monge, and CEO of Nesta, Ravi Gurumurthy, Join Board of Environmental Defense Fund Europe

(BRUSSELS – 10 December 2020) Environmental Defense Fund Europe is delighted to welcome Andrea Monge, Chief Executive Officer of Rebold and Chief Operating Officer of ISP Holdings, and Ravi Gurumurthy, Chief Executive Officer of Nesta, as new board trustees.

“It’s an honor to join the Board of Environmental Defense Fund Europe and its community of leading experts and stakeholders in the fight against climate change,” said Ms. Monge. 

Ms Monge is the Chief Executive Officer of Rebold, a digital marketing agency with an expertise in digital fundraising for nonprofits. Prior to her career in marketing and data analytics, Ms. Monge collaborated with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel, the United Nations, the Rainforest Alliance in New York City, and Ecology Project International in Costa Rica. 

Prior to joining Nesta, Mr. Gurumurthy founded and led the Airbel Innovation Lab at the International Rescue Committee where he designed, tested and scaled products and services for people affected by crisis in over 40 countries. Previously, Mr. Gurumurthy led a number of major social and environmental reforms as Director of Strategy at the Department of Energy and Climate Change in the UK Government.

"I look forward to working alongside my fellow Board members and EDF Europe to advance innovative ways to reduce global warming and combat climate change," said Mr. Gurumurthy.

Ms. Monge and Mr. Gurumurthy will work closely with Jill Duggan, Executive Director of Environmental Defense Fund Europe.
